Introduction :

BACKGROUND
Passerelles numériques, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping as many young people as possible from disadvantaged backgrounds obtain education and qualified employment in the IT sector.

Established in Cambodia, the Philippines and Vietnam, Passerelles numériques currently trains 537 students and aims to train 750 in the next three years. PN employs 96 people based in these three countries including a small team in France.
Passerelles numériques relies on the financial and skills sponsorship of several corporate partners such as Accenture, Econocom-Osiatis, CA Technologies and Microsoft and also receives support from individual donors.

In Cambodia, Passerelles Numériques delivers a two-year IT training with two majors: Systems & Network Administration (“SNA”) and Web Programming (“WEP”). Every year 100 underprivileged students from 18 provinces are selected and then divided between the SNA and WEP specializations.

System & Network Administration Trainer

Job Requirement :
  • Bachelor degree in Computer science or related fields
  • 2 year experiences working with CISCO devices or teaching CISCO.
  • CCNA instructor is a plus
  • Flexible, critical thinking, creative and autonomous, open to criticism, with team spirit
  • Organized, rigorous, good communication, eager to learn and develop himself/herself
  • Very strong ethical behavior and leadership on his/her area of ownership
  • Able to self-train quickly to new technologies
  • Willing to work in NGO
     
Job Duties :
  • Under the supervision of the SNA Training Coordinator/Training Manager, the SNA Trainer will undertake role and responsibilities as below:
  • Training Delivery
  • Prepare and deliver courses, homework, workshops and exams to students on topics such as: Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems, Computer Architecture and Maintenance, Cisco and Computer basic skills
  • Identify the materials required for the practice of your course and manage it
  • Participate to the design and updating of the IT training curriculum
  • Ensure strong students follow up, identify and support the weak students, manage mark and action for your exam
  • Keep abreast of technology in your field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences
  • Teaching Methodology
  • Constantly improve the pedagogy and exchange with colleagues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching issues
  • Others:
  • Participate in social mission, tutorship, Virtual Company, and placement activities.
