Introduction :

Equitable Cambodia (EC) is a Cambodian organization working to promote equitable development and the progressive realization of human rights in Cambodia through research, evidence-based advocacy, and community empowerment.  Equitable Cambodia was formed out of the localization of Bridges Across Borders Cambodia (BABC), an international solidarity organization active in Cambodia since 2003. Equitable Cambodia was registered by the Ministry of Interior as a Cambodian national non-governmental organization in March 2012. 

The EC’s Operation Department is currently looking for three qualified candidates to fulfill the positions below. This is a fulltime position with a one-year contract and possibility for renewal.

Job Requirement :
  • Bachelor degree of Computer science or IT and at least one year of related work experience,
  • At least 1-year experience in web development/design using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, query, other
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL
  • Knowledge in Content Management System (CMS) such as Joomla or Word Press is preferred
  • Experience in web development/design using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, query, other
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with organization’s team and partners;
  • Proficiency in English and Khmer;
Job Duties :
  • Network administration
    • To ensure IT policy compliance and keep review and useable for EC.
    • Maintain Windows 2008 Server by controlling over the network and user system, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy and File and Storage Management
    • Provide day-to-day technical support to EC users
    • Coordinate, and implement network security measures and make recommendations for enhancements of future servers and network implementation.
    • Schedule and perform proactive maintenance and reconfiguration of IT systems, including software upgrade, virus scanning, defragment and weekly backup.
    • Resolution of defects found in the system and participate in documenting for internal use
    • Ensure internet and email addresses are available to EC users
    • Assist in advising the procurements of computers, computer peripheral and other spare parts.
    • Ensure that the design of EC computer sites allows all of the components, including computers, the network, and software, to fit together and work properly.
    • Provide technical advice in procuring IT equipment.
    • Maintain printers and computers
    • Maintain and backup Camera security
  • Website development
    • Responsible for maintenance EC website using PHP and MySQL and related communication channels of the organization. Maintain existing Human Resources Management System (web application) and add-ons/plug-ins development will be conducted if necessary
    • Test the system frequently to avoid any accidents
    • Provide overview concept of design and plan for the system as a whole
    • Update and backup website
    • Create email account and HR user,
