Position: Technical Support for Market Research Business Relation
Location: Phnom Penh Operations (Svay Pak)

Job Description :

To assist Urban Poor Income Generation (UIGP) in planning, monitoring, implementing and evaluating on UIGP project that is contributing to project/program goal and Objectives in which relevant to urban secondary strategies (CMS, Child Protection and Initial Disaster Preparedness Plan).

Job Requirement :
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Marketing, Development or other related filed
  • At least 1 year professional experience in development project especially related to income generation or other related sectors
  • Familiar in project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, report writing and budgeting especially community Market Research Information
  • Previous experience working in urban context, capacity building, advocacy, networking and facilitation skills is an advantage
  • Computer literate in Ms. Word and Email
  • Knowledgeable in written English and Khmer
  • Able to embrace organizational values towards the mission of WVC
Job Duties :
  • Ensure the Market Research is conducted to ensure community product is fitted to Market
  • To build capacity according to market research to CBO/CSGs based on POA and guideline and ensure that CMS, child protection is integrated into planning and implementation of projects
  • Work/Cooperate closely with UIGP, Technical Support for Capacity Building and others projects for implementing and monitoring project activities
  • Linkage community to access private sector/companies/NGOs/ small enterprise for increase community product in market and earning more income to support family and their children for schooling
  • Cooperate with UIGP to prepare and revise small micro project budget in responding to community need with accountability and transparency
  • Ensure UIGP reaches high quality results through coordinating/networking with others key stakeholders
  • Facilitate the CBO/CSGs committees and communities people every month to share the knowledge/lesson learnt and best practices to improve to fullness of life of community
  • Facilitate community people in preparing/planning on capacity building to CBO/CSGs and poor slum community at community level
