Systems and Servers Engineer
The System & Server Engineer is responsible for the day to day administration, maintenance, development and continuous improvement of servers, network infrastructure and storage systems for our internal and client environments. He/She will design, optimize, and document network architecture and configurations consistently, and plan backup and replication of systems to prevent outage and data loss. He/she will apply problem-solving skills to engineer creative solutions that are highly reliable and scalable, while ensuring that there are minimal disruptions due to IT related issues. The System & Server Engineer has a positive, customer oriented attitude.

• What you bring
• University degree in computer science or IT or similar degrees
• 3 years of professional experience as a system administrator
• Solid knowledge of the Linux server environment and network administration
• Experience in set up and operation of a web server environment (Apache, Nginx, Varnish)
• Experience in set up and operation of the following databases: MySQL, CouchDb, ElasticSearch, Redis
• Experience in using infrastructure automation with Ansible, Chef or Puppet a strong plus
• Knowledge in a programming language a plus
• Analytic, structured and conscientious way of working
• Independent development and teamwork skills
• Open and communicative personality

• What we expect
• Representatives will perform related work as required:
• Responsible for the administration, maintenance, development and continuous improvement of IT infrastructures
• Work together with IT Manager and production teams to develop extensive automation mechanisms for development and deployment processes
• Control ongoing operations by implementing and improving existing monitoring concepts
• Provide support for trouble-free operations of development and customer servers
• Provide support for development teams regarding IT issues in the context of customer projects (DevOps, architecture planning, failover concepts, etc.)
• Train department staffs in various areas of information technology
