You will be joining the multi-disciplinary team of Friends-International comprised of over 500 professionals committed to achieving best quality and innovative holistic service for youth children and families worldwide

What will you do?
As a Family Reintegration Social Worker you will prepare the reintegration of children living outside of family care into a family environment, in line with national policies and procedures on alternative care. This position will work closely with DoSAVY, other Kaliyan Mith social workers and partners to provide case management, ensuring that reintegration is safe, and sustainable.

• About you:
• You are an independent and dynamic social worker, passionate about social services, who enjoys working in close collaboration with other teams, government, and partners.
• You are strongly commitment to quality and positive outcomes for marginalized children and young people.
• You have a strong interest in social work programs and/or working with marginalized children, youth and families.
• You master working Khmer; English is a plus
• You know your way around a computer
• You will be our full time employee, based in Siem Reap
• Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience

• Open case management for children and young people living outside of family care, and provide direct, targeted support services based on their needs (for example, counselling, medical, education, etc.).
• Trace and assess family, and provide direct, targeted support to prepare them to receive their child home (for example, counselling, life skills education, material support, employment services, etc.).
•  Where family reintegration is not possible, assess and prepare safe alternative care options.
•  Follow-up and provide targeted ongoing support services to all reintegrated cases and their families on a needs basis.
