As a Manager for IT Service and Application Support, you will be managing all IT BAU works including End User Support, IT Asset Management, IT Procurement and Vendor Management, Software Licensing, Backup & Restore, Data Centre Operations, Performance Capacity Management, Availability Management, Preventive Maintenance, IT Release & Deployment, IT Change Management, Security patching and other IT operations. You will deliver outstanding IT services to all staff of over 14 branches, 100 ATMS and digital channels (via internet or mobile banking) by ensuring that service levels are achieved, user expectations are exceeded, ensuring continuous improvement of IT Operations, ensuring effective governance of technology service management and providing commentary on trends, risks and issues thru accurate analysis and reporting to management team. You will lead the recovery of system resources during Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity activities and provide commentary on trends, risks and issues as well as support people development and manage succession plan for the team.

  • As a Senior Specialist, IT Operations and Service Support you will be responsible for supporting on IT Operations, IT Asset, IT Vendor & Procurement, and Data Centre Operations. You will be assisting in managing and supporting on IT Procurement & Vendor Management, Software Licensing, Backup & Restore, Performance, Capacity Management, Availability Management, Preventive Maintenance, IT Release & Deployment, IT Change Management and Security patching, Service Level Management included SLR (Service Level Requirement) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) by ensuring high levels of service availability aligned with business requirements, BVT (Business Verification Test) after upgrading/releasing IT systems and Security Patches, DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) included planning, designing, implementing and testing and collecting, maintaining enough supporting documents for all IT applications and gathering and publishing the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and MIS for IT Team by ensuring all critical indicators are reported, reviewed and escalated in timely manner. You will also be responsible for managing all IT assets, Data Centre Operations and tracking as well as providing monthly report of IT expenses.
Job Duties :
  •  Certified or Completed the formal training in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft (MTA/MCSA), Red Hat Linux (RHCSA/RHCE), VMware (VCA/VCP), ITIL or COBIT will be an added advantage
  •  Proven IT employment experience in private sectors at least 4-5 years
  •  Experience with supporting a medium-to-large scale network and system integration
  •  Experience in IT Procurement & Vendor Management, Data Centre Operations, IT Asset Management, Software Licensing, Service Level Agreement, Backup, Restore, DR, BCP, Performance Capacity Management, IT Support Maintenance for critical systems, IT Release & Deployment, IT Helpdesk and IT Change Management
  •  Stakeholder Management, Multi-tasking, Problem Solving and Data Analysis Skills
  •  Tertiary Qualifications in related field
  •  Experience in supporting and implementing Core Banking, ATM Switching, Visa, Master, UPI, Swift, Credit Card System, Internet Banking, NBC Clearing House, NBC Fast Payment and NBC CSS as well as IT Programming, Enterprise Application Development, Database Administration or Project Implementation will be an added advantage
