Job Requirement :
  • You can develop high quality proposals targeting institutional donors and you have proven track records of successfully attained grants
  • You have excellent understanding of institutional donor rules, regulations and priorities
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, French is a plus.
  • You have good writing skills and the ability to tailor writing according to the needs/style of individual donors
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • You enjoy working and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Job Duties :
  • What will you do?
  • As a Senior Grants Officer you will work directly on securing funding from multilateral donor agencies, trusts and foundations, government agencies, corporates, embasises and private donors. This also includes coordinating with our teams to prepare grants proposals and strengthen the relationship with our donor base.
  • Your responsibilities as a SENIOR GRANTS OFFICER will include the following:
  • Identifying funding sources and work with program and finance teams to design and develop new proposals and prepare funding submissions
  • Build and maintain relationships with targeted donors and coordinating donor project visits
  • Develop a good overall understanding of FI programs and approach to effectively represent FI at meetings with donors
  • Ensure proposals are in compliance with donor guidelines and formats rules, regulations and priorities
  • Contribute to the design of fundraising strategies for the FI programs
  • Coordinate with partners worldwide to develop joint proposals.
