• Represent the property in official sales and public relations functions and/or as directed by the General Manager
•Adherence to policies and procedures as set by the Management of the hotel
•Creation and Implementation of a departmental standard operating procedures
•Hiring, training and development of competent key personnel for Sales and Reservations
•Design, creation and thorough implementation of the Sales and Marketing (Business Plan)
•Definition of Market Targets for Acquisition, Retention and Development and their subsequent achievement
•Formulation, definition and thorough implementation of smart and applicable Marketing strategies, sales strategies, rate strategies
•Room Revenue Forecasting, Set up of Room Revenue Targets
•Achievement of set and Owner Approved Room Revenue Targets
•Provides necessary inputs resulting from market-intelligence for revenue-achievement strategies for the hotel's other revenue centers (F&B, Spa)
•Initiates and implements successful brand-building, promotional activities for the interest and prestige of the property
•Set-up, monitor and adherence to pre-set Sales and Marketing Expenditure Budget
•Setting up of in-property brand standards, complementary to Preferred Boutique's
•Adherence to Preferred Boutique Brand Standards.
•Coordination with overseas Sales and Offices whether directly employed by the hotel or as covered by a management contract
•Account management for key international accounts.
•Other functions and duties as assigned by the General Manager
