We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer 

Manages costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final completion figures.
Minimize costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Involved in the project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.
When the project is in progress, to keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports or charts to show profitability

• Technically trained and qualified in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management. Consideration given to C&S engineers with demonstrable commercial experience and knowledge of MEP is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years quantity surveying experience within a reputable C&S contracting organisation.
• Commercially astute, numerate, risk conscious & able to accurately forecast cost & sales transaction.
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Programs, mainly the application such as Words, Excel, Projects, Outlook etc.
• Able to speak and write English.

Typical Work Activities:

• Responsibilities vary depending on the nature and stage of the project, but can include:
• preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities;
• undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
• assist in establishing company's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
• performing risk, value management and cost control;
• advising on procurement strategy;
• identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks;
• preparing and analyzing costings for tenders;
• allocating work to subcontractors;
• providing advice on contractual claims;
• analyzing outcomes and writing progress reports;
• preparing and submitting final account;
• valuing completed work and arranging payments;Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with project timetable.
  Monitor all commercial information in relation to project include labour, material and subcontractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets are adhered to.
  Supply all relevant information to the Senior Project Manager for review at the specified intervals set.
  Support and assist the Senior Project Manager and Management with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
• maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use;
• understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.

Administration:

• Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with project timetable.
• Monitor all commercial information in relation to project include labour, material and subcontractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets are adhered to.
• Supply all relevant information to the Senior Project Manager for review at the specified intervals set.
• Support and assist the Senior Project Manager and Management with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
