Hydrologic Social Enterprise Co. Ltd. aims to be the leading distributor of effective and affordable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) products throughout Cambodia. The company is a social enterprise in that it has objectives for both financial achievement and positive social impact.
In 2001, iDE, an international non-profit development organization, introduced Ceramic Water Purifiers (CWPs) as an affordable water treatment option to benefit Cambodian’s health and environment. In 2009, iDE spun-off Hydrologic as a wholly owned subsidiary to scale up CWP production and distribution. To date, more than 350,000 CWPs have been distributed in Cambodia.
Hydrologic addresses a market of some two million Cambodian households that currently lack access to a safe and convenient water supply. As a social enterprise, Hydrologic is also committed to creating positive social impact through its business activities including improved public health, positive environmental impact, stimulation of rural economic activity, and a commitment to ethical business practice.

Job Requirement :
  •  Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and/or management in the private sector
  •  Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Management or related field
  •  Lives in above province are preferred
  •  Written and spoken Khmer language
  •  Written and spoken English language preferable
  •  Proficient computer skills – can use Microsoft Word and Excel, Email
  •  Has own motorcycle and mobile phone to use at all times
  •  Must have the ability to drive personal moto long distances independently to various communes and villages on a daily basis.
  •  Flexibility to move and work in various districts within province.
  •  Passionate about working in local communities and improving the health of Cambodians
  •  Results driven; motivated by sales targets and opportunity to achieve unlimited results.
  •  Strong problem-solver with commitment and ability to lead team to find a solution.
  •  Hard working with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  •  Friendly and communicates well with others; quick to build relationships and trust.
  •  Strong presentation skills; confident to speak in front of large audiences.
  •  Willing to learn and receive feedback.

Job Duties :
  • Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 
  • Recruit, train and manage team of Clean Water Experts (CWEs) to set up and hold daily group and direct sales meetings in villages to sell Tonsai ceramic water filters to end users. Main CWE sales activities include how to:
  •  SOURCE prospective customers – Engage in pre-meeting activities in order to set up and hold successful sales meeting.
  •  SELL – Use the “Clean Water Storybook” to engage prospect and sell Tonsai filter.
  •  SECURE payment and delivery.
  •  SERVE – Ensure timely and effective delivery of product and customer satisfaction.
  •  Plan for and hold weekly sales team meetings to plan weekly goals, objectives and agendas.
  •  Collect and analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales data to coach individual CWEs and set strategy for team to achieve sales targets.
  •  Responsible for all stock and inventory management in the field office. Work closely with Hydrologic Logistics Manager, Warehouse Controller, and local delivery person to coordinate stock and daily and weekly delivery schedule. Ensure correct sales revenue documentation and money collection process.
  • Coordinate closely with partner micro-finance institution’s (MFI) Provincial and District Branch Managers to plan sales territories and schedule sales meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by CWEs, CQCs and Driver. Ensure correct compensation for sales team.
  • Manage CWP Quality Control (CQC) agent, including scheduling, pro-active customer follow-up and timely response to hotline requests.
