We work with government partners and local NGOs to improve children’s live especially marginalized and disadvantaged children. Save the Children is looking for a qualified national candidate for Provincial Coordinator based in Koh Kong province with some travel to other provinces.

Purpose of the Role
The Provincial Coordinator is to share leadership, management, coordination and integration of the multiple program implementation in the province and primary accountable for effective and efficient operation in Koh Kong (program Implementation and support services functions) and promote integration, harmonization and alignment of program delivery across all projects guided by Area Manager and in close collaboration with thematic managers/coordinators, advisors and support services departments and all partners. The coordinator in his/her capacity is responsible on capacity building and evaluation of staff to deliver the quality program outcomes in both development and emergency preparedness/response settings (especially DRR/CCA and education projects).

• University degree in general management or relevant field experiences.
• Minimum of 5 year experiences in multiple development programmes and emergency preparedness and responses or relevant experiences on child rights
• Experience in project management preferably in the field of,DRR/CCA, Education, Child Protection,
• Understanding of government D & D process and relationship with local government departments
• Experiences in managing multiple grants and support functions including finance and administration
• Ability to think critically and independently and work with minimum supervision, and solve problems independently
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong commitment to Save the Children’s Mission, Vision and Values and full adherence to Child Safe Guarding
• Sensitivity and adaptability towards culture, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age
• Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours, and work with incoming teams in the event of major emergencies
