Background:
People in Need (PIN) is an international NGO that has been working in Cambodia since 2008. PIN operates programs in Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Response, Urban Poverty Reduction and Maternal and Child Health.
The Maternal and Child Health Program is the longest operating program in PIN. It began in Takeo Province in 2008, and has since expanded operations to Kampong Chhnang Province and Phnom Penh. In 2015, PIN began work in a new project in a number of remote villages of Koh Kong Province where communities have been relocated from the coast.
The project in Koh Kong will involve 2 main activities:
Supporting partner organization to improve uptake of WASH infrastructure through a sanitation marketing approach and the capacity building of local VHSGs in 10 communities to perform CLTS.
Implementation of an innovative and successfully piloted mHealth program targeting maternal and child care (health promotion messages are sent out to mothers’ mobile phones)

Base location to be confirmed in Koh Kong Province, either Koh Kong City, Sre Ambel Town or Andong Tek Town with regular visits to Phnom Penh as required.
Duration of Contract:
12 months with possibility of extension
