Cambodian Center for the Protection of Children’s The Cambodian Centre for the Protection of Children’s Rights (CCPCR) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. Its task is to promote children’s rights by protecting and combating against Violence, Sexual Abuse, Child Trafficking and Exploitation. CCPCR was founded as a not-for-profit NGO in November 1994, by a group of Cambodian professionals highly committed to the welfare of Cambodian children. It commenced operations in March 1995 and its Statute was approved by the Ministry of Interior on Feb 27th 1997.
Currently, CCPCR is operating Child protection and Prevention program in 5 provinces including Phnom Penh, Svay Rieng, Siemreap, Kampong Thom, and Koh Kong. The programs focus on child protection issues including rescue, recover, rehabilitation and reintegration and prevention including strengthening child protection mechanism and community education.
