Youth for Peace (YFP) is a Cambodian NGO believing that sustainable peace and reconciliation have to be firmly rooted in local communities. We believe that youth can be motivated and empowered to play a constructive role as change agents for such peace and reconciliation at the local level.

We have trained thousands of young people in social responsibility, solidarity, conflict resolution and leadership. Using a progression of workshop, events and activities, YFP challenges and motivates youth to design and implement peace building projects in response to identified issues and creative solutions. YFP is currently looking for a qualified and motivated female Cambodian candidate to fulfill a position as Marketing Volunteer with YFP.

Marketing Volunteers
Category: Marketing/Business Administration
Location: Phnom Penh and will be required to travel to provinces
Schedule: Par-Time (full morning or afternoon)
Salary: Starts from USD 100 per month

• At least year 3 or 4 or graduate students in the fields of marketing/business administration.
• Interests in Peace Building and Reconciliation in Society
• Strong commitment, integrity and honesty
• Willingness in learning new things
• Good team working
• Functional English knowledge
• Literacy of Ms. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet and email
• Able to work individually and as a team.
• Able to conduct trainings or events in community.
• Able to travel and stay in community.
• Willing to work hard under time pressure and cultural diversity.
• Be active, proactive, self-confident, self-motivated and positive thinking manner

• Planning
• Create and follow monthly work plan according to the activities delegated by the PO
• Participate in project discussions regard with producing, marketing and selling products
• Take initiative on product creation based on market needs with assistance from PO, project team and youth group
• Prepare marketing plans of the products as well as budgets
• Implementation
• Work as a team with PO, project team and youth group
• Involve in the design and implementation of various marketing campaigns and selling activities
• Lead youth group and volunteers in promotional activities and selling the products
• Assist PO and team in communicating with customers, relevant stakeholders and various media including radio newspaper, magazine, direct marketing, other printed material (banners, brochures, etc.) and electronic materials (email, facebook and websites)
• Maintain good relation with target customers and keep targeting new customers
• Keep updating the market price and set a good price of products
• Control and prepare report stock for PO and project team by monthly
• Attend with YFP’s meetings or other meeting if there is request by YFP
• Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation
• Prepare the implementation activities and submit to PO every 2 weeks after activity
• Prepare financial report according to her/his activity and submit to finance unit
• Assist PO in gathering information for the report, design and assessment the products
• Meet with P O and project team by monthly or weekly to discuss problems, solutions and plans of the project
