Supervises: HR team - HR trainees – management trainees

General description
The position of Manager of HR and training development is a key position in the development of the school and the daily operation; the first role been to make sure that all staff works at a very high level of commitment in a generally professional manner and make sure that the school team reach the fixed objectives.

The DRH works closely with the director to help planning the development of the school and the needs in staff in order to make sure that the operation remains smooth. The DRH must works closely with partners in order to maximize the training abilities of the school

Job Requirement :
  • Required qualifications
  • Study Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Tools and technology Experience with computer
  • Languages Khmer and English – French is a plus
  • Preferences
  • Minimum experience 3 years of relevant work experience in these fields:
  • HR support to an international organization, contracts management, HR and/or sales and marketing related matters
  • Age from 25 years old
  • Gender Male / Female
  • Skills necessary
  • Organizational, leadership, effective written communications skills, stress and time management skills, mathematics, maintain a level of accuracy confidentiality concerning financial and employees/students files.
Job Duties :
  • Human resources
  • Job announcement and follow up of the application to find the best suitable employees
  • Welcome new employees and get them all needed information’s work closely with the finance department on all staff matters
  • Make sure the team work at the best of his abilities
  • Prepare with employees to set up a development program with them.
  • Follow up working agreements, vacations schedule and leaves records
  • Organize activities for the employees in order to keep a high level of standards and a good general working atmosphere in the team
  • Work closely with all departments
  • Be the direct link in the project of partnership with Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne and be a link with the school staff
  • Office and Training development
  • Oversee administration of human resources, including but not limited to: maintaining personnel files, assisting with recruitments and orientation procedures, purchasing and maintaining adequate health and other insurance policies, etc.
  • Maintain administration files.
  • Update following discussion the rules and regulations of the school and help in the implementation of the rules.
  • Employee relation (requirement beside normal activities, if any, which may occur)
  • Attend education workshop to maintain professional and technical knowledge (seminar, conference)
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge for our teachers by scheduling some training as per needs with them linked to the director of education and the school director as well as for the team of the school
  • ensure the highest level of work from the whole team and a constant training about the ASEAN needs
  • Help the school to develop a training schedule for outside students in accordance with the teachers schedule in the school and make sure that the amphitheatre is used as best of possibilities outside in close relationship with the operation team of the school.
  • May be ask any additional duties in the scope of work
  • Help organize outside activities with the team
  • May be asked some teaching to teachers and students from time to time
  • other objectives
  • Monitoring the training revenue for the forthcoming years
  • Formulating strategic and long term business plan
  • Report factors influencing business performance
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts: government, ministries, hotel groups, other school and students alumni
