Job Description :

 Job Purpose: The job holder is responsible for leading and driving the customer service team to achieve 5 Star Plus service as set by the Bank. S/he will ensure customers are
experiencing forwards banking experience with CIMB.

Job Dimension:

Communications & Working Relationship

  •  External: Customers
  •  Internal: Branch staff and all business departments

Job Requirement :
  •  Degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance and Business Administration;
  •  At least 3-5 years of working experience in Cash Management or deposit products e.g. current account, savings account and fixed deposits;
  •  Experience in product management is advantageous;
  •  Excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as presentation skills;
  •  Demonstrate great propensity to learn as well as adapting to changing situations;
  •  Ability to develop mutually beneficial business relationships with internal and external parties, and apply innovative end to end propositions that will generate significant business opportunities;
  •  Experience and/or knowledge in trade finance will be an added advantage
Job Duties :
  • Grow CASA Balances and CM revenues at overall CBTB, CBK level by leveraging all payments, cash management products and solutions;
  •  Provide leadership, guidance and support to sales, client management and marketing teams for positioning, pricing and promotion of all local Cash Management (“CM”) products; can the job holder do this part? She has to (as per requirement from Martin side)
  •  Direct, manage and motivate the product management team to deliver business results based on the Product Life Cycle framework;
  •  Become the subject expert matter on CM products and report on competitors developments and improve CIMB’s CM product positioning in the market;
  •  Contribute to the establishment of new business practices, procedures and guidelines within CM and the Bank;
  •  Participate in and lead CM level cross divisional special initiatives that contributes to the overall performance of CM’s business;
  •  Ensure MIS and dashboards produced by the Product team captures the necessary activity and performance parameters to add value to business stakeholders;
  •  Be responsible to comply with all internal and external policies, procedures and regulations;
  •  Develop tracking and data mining systems that facilitate in depth analysis of all customer activity to establish trends and devise strategies to enhance system usage, products and processes. ; 

Secondary Responsibilities;

  • - Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, particularly in CBT and CBK as well as the relevant stakeholders; Optimize penetration of electronic channel (Bizchannel), and train all necessary user groups
  • (customers and staff), and develop strong working relationship with sales force, Ops and IT;.
  • - To monitor and grow CASA balances by revamping and relooking at the Bank’s propositions, becoming the provider of choice for Payroll solutions and running campaigns for volume growth of all CM products and solutions;
  • - To manage all electronic banking services to provide best in class functionality and ensure it is seen as a secure and technology led delivery channel for cash management solutions, through continuous enhancements and product tweaks to drive channel migration strategies; can the job holder do this part? She has to (as required by Martin side)
  • - Be responsible for the entire product life cycle of each product, solution and service related with Payments, Account Services, Collections, Liquidity, from product design, development, roll out and customer implementation;
  • - Be responsible for pricing the products, solutions and services in a competitive way to assure product profitability and market competitiveness;
  • - Be responsible for the profitability of each product, solution and service;
  • - Stay abreast of evolving e-commerce related infrastructure, cash management offerings, laws and regulations and ensure that the Bank is well positioned to meet the challenges in an evolving market;
  • - Ensure that projects are properly managed and tracked to meet target dates for rollout and implementations;
  • - Provide system specs and oversee testing of new features prior to moving them into production;
