•  Engineering graduate or higher diploma in mechanical / electrical / production engineering
•  Good computer skills

•  Reports to Maintenance Engineers/Engineering Supervisor.
•  Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to all aspect inside the guestroom. 
•  Attends to repairs and maintenance of guestrooms electrical low tension panels.
•  Attends to electrical and ancillaries installations such as audio / video cables, computer cables, telephone and MATV systems when assigned to shifting operation and in coordination with I.T department. 
•  Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises, including any new additional, extensions to the hotel or any other properties maintained by the hotel.
•  Attends to repairs of damaged / cracked surface which may include concrete, plastering, stone work, block work, walls and floors ceramic tiling and marble work. 
•  attends to repairs and painting of all surface walls floors, facades, ceilings and equipment both indoor and outdoor eith either enamel or emulsion paint as required to macth existing finsh.
•  Attends to varnishing works such as doors, window timber panels and furnitures. 
•  Respsonible for prepartaion of surfaces prior to painting or varnishing.
•  Carry out spray painting of equipment, furniture of related surfaces as required.
•  Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises, including any new additional/ extensions to the hotel.
•  Carry out minor repairs work in carpentry and other related tasks.
•  Attends to repairs / installation of vinyl floor tiles and false ceilings.
•  Carry out painting works in guest rooms, public and service areas including plant rooms and other related areas. 
•  Responds to a guest maintenance request within 15 minutes on receipt of the same.
•  Ensure that the plant rooms, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condtion. 
•  Observes precribed safety standards. Help maintain safe condtions for self and others.
•  Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
•  Conduct routinely inspection to water reservoir, geysers, pathway lights, timers, sewage, LV switch room, Generator room once in his shift if assigned in shifting operation.
•  Monitor sweet water and waste water level from time to time if assigned in shifting operation.
•  Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
•  Participate in Hotel energy conservation program.
•  Complies with hotel’s health, safety & hygiene policy. 
•  On call 24 hours in cases of emergencies
•  Performs related duties and special projects as assigned. 
•  Responsible in attending fire and life safety activities as it is necessary being a maintenance staff.
