The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA), established on 13 June 2000, is an autonomous and independent federation of employers and business associations recognized and registered with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia. Due to the increasing need for the private sector to stand together with a unified voice, CAMFEBA has become the premier federation representing, promoting and safeguarding the rights and interests of employers in Cambodia. Our vision is “Successful business, Prosperous Cambodia.”  CAMFEBA is also a member of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), the ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE) and the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Employers (CAPE). Due to our rapid growth, we are now looking for a qualified Cambodian candidate to fill in the position of below

Job Requirement :
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, preferably in labor law and/or commercial law
  • Possess at least 2 years working experience in the law firm or any legal consulting company
  • Member of the Bar Association of Cambodia is a plus
  • Good knowledge in Cambodian labor law, the Arbitration Council process, the National Social Security Fund, and Commercial law
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally in Khmer and English (both writing and speaking)
  • Be able to communicate with people at different levels
  • Be able to work under pressure and deadline
  • Have good facilitation and training skills
  • Familiar with MS Offices, Ms. Outlook, Internet & email
  • Be proactive, creative and a good team player
  • Be able to work without or with minimal supervision
  • Be able to conduct training on labor law/industrial relations
  • Willing to work in challenging environment and long hour
  • Willing to learn new things
Job Duties :
  • Reporting Line: Legal Department Manager
  • Under the supervision and monitoring of the Legal Department Manager, the Legal Consultant is responsible for, but not limit to, the following duties and responsibilities:
    • Advise members of CAMFEBA on issues pertaining to labor law and law on commercial enterprise and employment injury related with regulations;
    • Analyze the arbitral awards, laws and regulations and advise them to members;
    • Monitor labor and industrial relations issues and advocate effectively with the members, government and other stakeholders;
    • Assist or represent members during their industrial disputes at various levels;
    • Provide training on new developments within the field of the labor law and employment injury insurance to members;
    • Other requested or assigned tasks.
