International Banking Credit Risk (1 Position based in Phnom Penh)

Job Description :

INTERNATIONAL BANKING CREDIT RISK
This role supports all lines of business in ANZ Royal to achieve sound profitable growth of lending assets, by maintaining credit quality in line with agreed business strategies; consistent with Group’s credit principles, policies and procedures through independent and objective credit assessment and advice.

Job Requirement :
  • At least 4 to 5 years experience in HR as a requirement.
  • Good knowledge of HR management, policies and procedures, Labour law
  • Proven experience in credit, relationship general banking and administration
  • Analytical skills, self motivation and professional presentation
  • Demonstrated sound credit judgments
  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking/Finance/Accounting or Economics would be desirable
Job Duties :
  • Make soundly based credit decisions, based on quality analysis on timely basis with accuracy in risk grades in line with Group credit principles and policy and that effective risk management practises are followed
  • Make comments on credit memoranda that are objective, clear, concise, and add value to the final decision
  • Provide and ensure sound credit consultancy advice, coaching and training to line counterparts in achieving business strategies
  • Identify trends in credit quality and develop action strategies jointly with line counterparts
  • Provide effective coaching and training to assist in improvement of credit skills of all staff.
  • Encourage and conduct workshop at an early stage, where required, in the formulation and assessment of lending proposals particularly customers with large or complex limits to assist in getting the deal done or decision reached in time
  • Manage conflict in reaching decisions or resolve disputes in a professional manner, without compromising standards
  • Ensure Credit Operations in area of responsibility, are organised, structured, resourced, skilled and motivated to efficiently provide required standard of credit service and support
  • Monitor/manage workflows to ensure efficient work practises, with risk focus approach to credit risk management, achieve cost efficiencies, eliminate unnecessary activities and manage change
