Introduction :

My Village (MVi) is a Cambodian non-profit-non-government-organization which was founded in November 2006. MVi is working in northeast provinces of Cambodia, particular in Mondulkiri, Kratie, and Stung Treng Province. The main MVi development endeavors is to promote Indigenous People rights to land, forestry; good governance and community empowerment in partnership through the development of network and community groups, building women network and supporting the community to improve their livelihood status.

MVi does not work on child sector. By the way, MVi has the child protection policy and all MVi staff must respect it and avoid from the child rights abuse.

Now, MVi is seeking the Cambodian national to fulfill its below positions.

Job Requirement :
  • University degree education, public administration and laws.
  • At least three years working experiences in good governance, government-sub-national-at district/municipality and commune/Sangkat level, integrated community development and working with NGOs.
  • Ability to prepare a project report on the regular basis in Khmer/English; quarterly, semester and annual.
  • Significant management experiences of staff management and project management.
  • Proven skills in community organizing, managing training and facilitation.
  • Knowledge on law/legal framework, indigenous people rights, or related field.
  • A strong track record in open and transparent financial management.
  • Effective verbal, listening, communications facilitation skill and team building.
  • Good in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Khmer.
  • Good computer application skills.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize own workload, take initiative, work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Duties :
  • REPORTING LINES:
    • Post holder reports to Program Coordinator, associate with Finance and Administration Officer and Administrative Assistant for the finance and administration purpose.
    • Staff reporting to this post: N/A
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • To assist the Program Coordinator in management the organizational-wide program operation in specially oversee the ISAF project funding by Care Cambodia;
    • To maintain the project information, monitoring, documentation, and related data;
    • To facilitate with PC to develop the project concept idea and strategy and responsible for program office-wide reporting;
    • To implementing the ISAF project and ensure that it is running follow the project timeframe and all activities set up.
    • Development project implementation strategy and guidelines.
    • Actively participate in Program review and decision making meeting
    • Establish and maintain effective partnership and working collaboration with donor, CBOs, local government authorities at district/municipality level and relevant development agencies.
    • Identify need for and provision of technical assistance and coaching support CBOs, District/Municipal councils and Commune/Sangkat.
    • Provide capacity building to CBOs, Municipal councils, Board of Governor, Sangkat council, and civil society groups, Media/Journalist and private sector on democratic participation in Municipal/district and commune/Sangkat.
    • Manage relevant databases and prepare report and submit to Program Coordinator/Executive Director and donor.
  • Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Assist to coordinate on baseline assessment for project design and planning with the application of result based management;
    • Undertake field monitoring and evaluation of the program offices and project activities in the provinces and ensure that the program output is achieved within the defined budget and timeframe.
  • Policy Development:
    • Assist in reviewing and implementing the organizational policies and procedures;
    • Ensure the implementation of official MVi policies and procedures.
  • Liaison and Networking:
    • Assist the Program Coordinator in representation, communication and dealing with others as required;
    • Act as focal point to share information about MVi to interested people /organization;
    • Assist and support team members, consultants and researchers undertaking networking, consultations and fieldwork;
    • Translation of documents, take minutes meetings and workshops as necessary. Assist consultants and visitors with interpreting during field visits;
    • Contribute to the running of training and workshops and other capacity-building activities;
    • Make useful contribution to the advocacy work and networking with relevant community and NGO partners;
    • Keep informed of the general Cambodian development context with a special attention to issues of Indigenous People's Rights and Natural resources management, and its relations.
