Introduction :

Equitable Cambodia is a Cambodian organization working to promote equitable development and the progressive realization of human rights in Cambodia through research, evidence-based advocacy, and community empowerment.  Equitable Cambodia was formed out of the localization of Bridges Across Borders Cambodia (BABC), an international solidarity organization active in Cambodia since 2003.  Equitable Cambodia was registered by the Ministry of Interior as a Cambodian national non-governmental organization in March 2012. 

EC is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Human Resources and Administration Manager which is based in Phnom Penh.  

Job Requirement :
  • At least bachelor in BA or HR Management or related fields
  • At least 4 years of work experience in Admin/HR department with 2 years as supervising level
  • Dynamic and creative person in autonomous, time-flexible, good leadership, analytical, strong communication, planning and implementing skills and networking.
  • Excellence in English language (both written, spoken, and listening)
  • Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access...)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Able to handles special projects, as requested, in a timely and professional manner.  Understands and strictly adheres to EC financial policies and procedures.
  • Ability to relate well and work with Management and Staff members

  • Reliable and trustworthy person with good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties :
  1. Human Resources:
  •  Performance the HR functions on recruitment and selection to ensure that EC vacancies are attracting candidates and offering the right positions to the right candidates.
  •  Continuously develop and revise human resources policy and other regulations on a timely basis to ensure they are reflecting to need and compliance with Cambodian Labor Law.
  •  Develop the annual staff capacity building plan by ensuring that each staff has proper job descriptions, job expectations, internal and external training, job sharing, first time orientation, quarterly coaching, mapping staff competency, EC succession planning, and performance appraisal and management.
  • Manage the HR filings both documents and web-database to ensure that those documents are filed and entried properly and privately.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the salary, compensation, staff’s benefits by reviewing payroll and relevant reports and they are paid promptly.
  • Ensure staffs are working in the safe and positive working environment where there is no discrimination, harassment, violation, office politics and dangers.
  • Become a first contact person for advise staff, managers, and executive committee for some concerns related to personal security, Cambodia Labor Law, labor relation, performance management, disciplinary procedures, policies explanation,. etc.
  1. Administrative:
  •  Ensure IT staff, Office Hygiene Assistants, Office Security Assistants, admin/HR Assistant carry out their duty every day.
  •  Ensure the premises of the office clean, tidy, and guard properly every day.
  •  Ensure all office equipment is in good condition and manage all office related issues.
  •  Ensure the office stationary and suppliers are managed and used properly in the save manner.
  •  Prepare and review memos, announcements, reports, documents, agreements, contracts and other administrative correspondent letter before issue or filing.
  •  Ensure the EC filling system is both hard copy filling and database recording are more tidy, secure and easy to access.
  •  Build the relationship with all parties especially the government departments.
