Introduction :

MAADS, is being set-up by the founders/operators of several well-known boutique hotels, restaurants and shops in Cambodia, and soon in Yangon. Existing operations include Pavilion, Plantation, TeaHouse, Blue Lime, Kabiki, Kirirom Mountain Lodge, Chinese House, Mekong Floating Bungalows, Le Tonlé, elsewhere, The 240. A few more are presently under development and we foresee sustained further expansion. All projects have a consistent identity: strong character, great locations, interesting setups and lots of water and greenery. They are aesthetical, respect architectural heritage and provide a personalised service. MAADS actively promotes regional culture and responsible tourism, and strives to always positively maximise guests’ experience of our destinations.  
 
JOB SUMMARY 
Support MAADS managed properties will all Human Resources aspects.

Job Requirement :
  • Aged 30 to 50, extremely motivated and available.
  • Deep sense of human contact.
  • Academic degree in Human Resources management.
  • Knowledge of Cambodian culture and people.
  • Ability to get accepted by all sister properties personalities and existing teams.
  • Fluent in English with at least average Khmer. French or Chinese being a plus.
  • Up-to date on new communication and social media platforms.
  • Personally interested/experienced in international leisure travelling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with a team of over 400 staff.
  • Sensitive about Customer Service.
  • Well organized, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
Job Duties :
  • Coordinate/create HR policies with all the GMs.
  • Create/improve standards for quarterly HR appraisals for all properties staff.
  • Standardize/adjust employment contracts, employees’ handbooks, internal regulations.
  • Standardize/adjust forms for recruitment, appraisal, employee filing.
  • Setup/adjust follow-up of holidays, absences, sick leaves.
  • Assist GMs with internal promotion policies.
  • Standardize/adjust salaries policies.
  • Setup hard-skills and soft-skills training programs.
  • Setup compulsory language training programs.
  • Assist GMs with recruitment strategies, job ads and dissemination, job descriptions.
  • When necessary, co-conduct recruitment interviews.
  • Post available positions on our websites and other online platforms.
  • Suggest team-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate staff parties, birthdays, property anniversaries.
  • Participate to HR tradeshows and events in the country.
  • Network with schools, universities and other training structures.
  • Link with Plantation / Academy of Culinary Arts vocational training center initiative.
  • Suggest management for improvements.
  • Conduct all MAADS HR duties.
  • Suggest and install a HR software management system in all properties.

  • At the 240 MAADS office, from 8:30 to 17:30, 1 hour lunch break, 5 days per week.
  • Evening and weekend work sometimes necessary to meet deadlines or attend events.
