Introduction :

Phare Ponleu Selpak is a not-for-profit organization, offering vulnerable and underprivileged children opportunities to participate in visual art, music, theatre and circus training since 1994.  PPS believes in the power of the arts as a tool for human development, education and rebuilding the cultural identity of Cambodia which was destroyed by the Khmer Rouge regime.  Alongside national and international work, PPS holds regular on-site art exhibitions and professional circus shows at its campus on the outskirts of Anchanh Village, Battambang. 

Phare Ponleu Selpak Association is now looking for a full-time Human Resource Coordinator she/he will maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by providing personnel administration , support head of department in staff recruitment & selection , staff development performance management and engagement and implementation of  human resources policies, programs, and practices and this position under supervision of PPS Director.

Job Requirement :
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years working experience in human resource functions in NGOs or Companies.
  • English proficiency both written and speaking
  • Have strong people and culture skills.
  • Highly competent in the use of standard office software
  • Strongly experience in coordination, facilitation, follow up, monitor, organizational and logistics planning skills, demonstrating high degree of initiative, attention to detail, and critical thinking ability.
  • Fully able to embrace organizational values and possess a high level of commitment towards the mission of PHARE.
Job Duties :
  • Maintains daily personnel administration such leaves, timesheets and employee benefits & compensations, insurances …etc.
  • Prepare and renew all employee and volunteer contracts.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; conducting and analyzing exit interviews.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource Ministry of Labor requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Support head of departments, school directors and project coordinator for coaching staff and solving any staff related problem if required.
  • Coordinate any logistics for volunteers and expat related to review and obtain Visa or Passport as required.
  • Prepare Monthly Payroll list & Salary Tax declaration as well as NSSF for accounting office for review.
  • Maintains and enforce employee handbooks and organizational policies & procedures. .
  • Updated employee handbook and employee related policies if it is necessary.
