Introduction :

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established at the end of 1995 in Cambodia, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Siem Reap.
Currently PSE is providing help to more than 6,500 children, supporting around 3,000 children in public schools, 1,500 in the remedial education program, and 1,500 in the vocational training program. Around 500 children benefit from specific educational programs: classes for children with disability, day-care centers, infant welfare, etc.

Job Requirement :
  •  Develop curriculum and teach "Human Education" lesson to all classes
  •  Manage and monitor "Life Skill Program" that students need to be successful in the 21st century
  •  Monitor slow learners in their academic performance, behavior and attendance and facilitate appropriate interventions for their future success
  •  Develop and implement soft consultation process with misbehave students and exit consultation for their transition to the next level skill training in PSE Institute
  •  Cooperate with Student Affair and Discipline Officer, teacher in charge, and other relevant departments to handle the students who found committing disciplinary mistakes base on student code of conduct handbook
  •  Cooperate with Student Affair and Discipline Officer and related departments in term of making appointment with students and solving their problems as well as conduct monthly meeting with class monitor and sub-class monitors to discus and solve the problems in relation to their class discipline 
  •  Assist in creating the writing the rules, regulation, and procedures for the school
  •  Record and tracking student history records in relation to their discipline and character to Student Learning Profile
  •  Control student learning files (student portfolio, student profile, and student development report)
  •  Write monthly report and perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Duties :
  •  Holding bachelor degree in Education 
  •  Pedagogy certificate or other equivalent degrees
  •  Minimum 1 year of experience in counseling, disciplining, planning and controlling or other related fields
  •  Experience in teaching kids is a plus
  •  Good pedagogy of teaching and transferring knowledge to students
  •  Love teaching vulnerable children
  •  Well-organized, flexible, patient and dynamic
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Computer literate (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. PowerPoint, and Internet & E-mail)
  •  Respect and support PSE’s values and mission
