Introduction :

Located in the heart of Phnom Penh Capital, Green Palace Hotel is a brand new 4-star and the first tallest skyscraper hotel building property in Cambodia consist of 17th floor, featuring 168 guestrooms plus Restaurant, Café lounge, Sky Bar, Spa & Fitness Center. Currently, we are looking for a caliber and hard-working candidate to fill in the following vacant position.

Job Requirement :
  •  Completed bachelor degree or above.
  •  Work experience in Front Office Department (Front Desk, Concierge, Reservation, Guest Relation) crossing with leadership and good manner.
  •  Operated and handling firmly in Front Office Department
  •  Working closely details with Front Office Department by management skill 05 years up.
  •  Managing people skill and manpower related to each section
  •  Good at in handling guest feedback, complaint, request……
  •  Involve all issues to Front Office Department and hotel information
  •  Good English in speaking and writing (other language is priority)
  •  Make good communication, relationship, cooperation with team work and other Department concern.
  •  Take care Front Office stationary and property
  •  Knowledge of computer usage (Word, Excel, Paper Work, power point,E-mail, Internet…)
  •  Summit monthly report to GM/CEO by end of the month
  •  Work experience with any Hotel System like PMS, Opera, Epitome, King Smart……
  •  Good personality, friendly, team work, respect, understand and help each other, responsible, wish to learn new thing, open mind, punctual, follow superior advisor.
  •  Be neatly dressed and well-groomed.
  •  Good attitude and high morality with honestly.
  •  High commitment and passion to work.
Job Duties :
  •  Leading with well-organized operation at all Front Office area
  •  Be in charge of Front Office Operation with effective and smoothly service to the guests.
  •  Make valuable communication within Front Office Department to other operating departments to make possible nicely operation.
  •  Managed all Front office staff appearance, uniform, personal cleanliness are nicely maintained to professionalism.
  •  To ensure that all room assigned to VIP are checked with the respective amenities are well set up in rooms before guests arrival.
  •  Greeting with warm welcome to all arriving V.I.P./valued guests in professional manner and check them in competently.
  •  To co-ordinate with housekeeping, concierge/airport staff//reception for VIP arrival and departure and other department concern
  •  Handle complaints and refer to individual department heads or the managements for further action.
  •  Report all-important problem occurred while on duty and record in the Manager on Duty’s log book.
  •  Handle credit difficulty and refer to RDM/GM if necessary.
  •  Handle medical assistance request for in house guest.
  •  Report and record any irregularities; and special incidents while on duty.
  •  Be aware of and keep records of the daily activities within the hotel including group movements, functions in the boardrooms.
  •  Be aware of the daily event to be held in town.
  •  Attend the morning briefing everyday with all executive management.
  •  To inspect all public areas, i.e.- lobby, all exits, elevators, lightings, public phones, flags, etc and ensure department concerned aware the problem encountered.
  •  Make sure that the lobby is kept clean and tidy at all times, and that the main entrance of the hotel is free of obstruction and traffic congestion.
  •  Read and follow up all uncompleted movements in the Duty Manager’s log book from the previous shift.
  •  Supervise and control the daily room status and room count movement.
  •  Handle room discrepancies and follow up with appropriate action.
  •  Get knowledge of the computer operation and room allocation.
  •  Guarantee all necessary record and proper filing system.
  •  Acknowledge with the room availability and always up sell to achieve a higher average room rate and revenue.
  •  Remember to bring forward all information obtained from the morning briefing to the attention of all Front Office staff’s attention.
  •  Keep alert with daily booking correspondence to ensure all the arrangements which required special attention for guest are in order, such as requests on connecting rooms fruit basket, high/low floor room, smoking and non smoking, honey moon set up… etc.
  •  Cooperate with security for hotel protection
  •  Recognizable with the hotel emergency procedures and to ensure maximum safety of guests and employee in case of emergencies.
  •  Handle medical assistance request for in house guest.
  •  Handle personally any overbooked room situation by speaking to every guest that is send out, and assure the house SOPs are implemented. GM/Management must be advised immediately.
  •  Attend the Front Office meeting in order to keep pace with the latest Management’s policies as well as gives suggestions to improve the efficiency and smooth Front office operation.
  •  Perform any other duties as required by the Management.
