- Fraud and Collection Manager (01 position)

• This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the fraud and Collection function for ANZ Royal: Ensuring the seamless, timely and effective execution of the agreed collections strategy for credit cards, mortgage, and personal loans. Minimizing the costs associated with fraud through ensuring the teams are well managed, providing fraud-related strategic and tactical input to support business initiatives.
• Minimize the costs associated with fraud
• Build effective relationships and networks with ANZ Group Collections units to leverage experience and leanings and technology
• Deliver exceptional customer service for all credit card, mortgage, personal loan fraud cases
• Initiate continuous improvement processes which impact customer experience throughout the fraud cases and fraud lifecycle
• Develop timely intervention strategies to maximize collection of dues to the bank, assess risk of non collection, provide early recommendations and action to ensure Bank’s income is protected
• Identify, evaluate and where appropriate implement new collections strategies, recoveries optimization, Fraud detection, Fraud dispute cycle time to increase the effectiveness of the team
• Conduct effective management, monitoring and control of existing collection processes. Ensure effective data collection and reporting to provide stakeholders with accurate updates on the arrears portfolio.
• Develop and lead the team who perform post assessment functions including collections for ANZ customer loan products, managing of arrears and excesses and write off.
• Mitigate the risk of increased write off’s and loan arrears through constant monitoring effective controls and timely intervention of ANZR loan arrears and account excesses
• Ensure that all incidents raised are logged in the appropriate systems within required timeframes and mitigation actions taken
• Engage with Assurance team to ensure risk assessments for new initiatives, systems and processes are completed
• Conduct effective management of capacity and performance to ensure that utilization of resources is maximized
• Coach, develop and mentor team
