Country and project background
Malaria Consortium (MC) has recently been granted by GF-ATM to implement a 16 month program in Thailand and Cambodia under the Inter Country Component (ICC) of the Regional Artemisinin Initiative (RAI) in partnership with PSK, Raksthai and the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) of both countries.
Job purpose
The role of the RAI ICC Field Assistant is under the leadership of the RAI ICC Field Assistant Team Leader is responsible for direct implementation of all field activities at the border points and villages.
This positions will be based in Stung Treng province of Cambodia and are accountable to perform all field activities.
Scope of work
Field Assistant will work responsible in daily activities of RAI ICC project in his/her assigned target area to ensure that the program activities were implementation as planned and project assumption. He/she also manage the administration and office management tasks at field office and oversee the VMW/MMW activity at field. It is also including to build the close communication/working with Health Centre target as well as local authority.
Key working relationships
Field Assistant play a role of project and organization representative to work closely with the health partners, health volunteers, local authority, as well as community people in his/her assigned target. He/she will work with other field team and under direct supervise from Filed Assistant Team Leader and support from the technical or management team.
