Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC), a Japanese non-governmental organization founded in 1980, is implementing its rural development projects in Siem Reap province for farmers, teachers, and students in order to improve their livelihood through ecological agriculture practices. JVC is now seeking qualified Cambodian nationals to fulfill the positions below for full time work based in Siem Reap Province.

Positions:  Environmental Education (EE) facilitator (1 position based in Chikraeng District, Siem Reap)

• B.A. in Agriculture or Forestry management with minimum 3 years of working experience in the field.
• Ability to cooperate with other JVC staff
• Be able to reside in Chikraeng district of Siem Reap province where our office locates.
• Have good communication and facilitation skills with target beneficiaries
• Have good English proficiency in speaking and writing.

• Conduct some activities with elementary school teachers such as tree planting activity, school/village sanitation activity and school garden activity in order for students to understand importance of role of plant and environment.
• Conduct some activity with Community Forestry Committee (CFC) members such as tree planting, plant research or patrolling forest in order to preserve and manage natural resource in the community.
• Facilitate meeting, discussion or workshop properly with teachers, CFC members and other stakeholders in order to find their problems and support them to take action.
• Work on our Experimental Farm to acquire practical skill by doing farm work by ourselves.
• Record working activity, collect information from various stakeholders and share it to manager, coordinator and other staffs  

Conditions
Starting with 3 months probation period (During Probation period, we provide 80% of Basic salary without any allowance)
