- ELA Co-Teacher- Full Time (2 positions)
 

• Experience in teaching or in taking care of children for at least 2 years
• Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English
• Skills in student-centered teaching
• High intercultural sensitivity
• Experience in working in an international school environment
• Self-initiative, positive work attitude, high team spirit and passion for education.
• Genuine fascination with language, interest in people, empathy with learners, and a lot of creativity
• Caring and motivated
• Willing to engage in ongoing professional development
• Ability to maintain discipline

• To ensure students’ safety and well-being both inside and outside the classroom
• To maintain clean and orderly classrooms
• To promote students’ interest in lessons
• To facilitate the delivery of lessons by ascertaining that students, despite possessing varying English language abilities, can equally understand their teachers
• To prepare and facilitate group exercises and supplementary activities
• To address individual needs among students
• To assist in engaging parents in their child’s education, for instance, via Parent-Teacher Conferences
• To support teachers in creating schemes of work and produce quality resources
• To use ICT and other learning technology
• To take an active part in the on-going school improvement process
