WRC has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional woman with strong writing skills to join the Women’s Resource Center team in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
We are looking for below position.
The first four months you will be trained through courses (both offline and online) to become our new fulltime staff member.
During these months you will not only be taking courses, but also set up year plans for both offline and online marketing, help the multimedia facilitator with creating our new multimedia workshop and write entries for our website, social media and blogs.
As an important member of the communications team, your day will range from online engagement to writing important documents for our supporters to planning fundraising initiatives with our fundraising team.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting to Donor Relations Manager (DRM) the Communications and Marketing Officer supports DRM in planning and implementing all communications, fundraising and development initiatives targeting supporters and donors. The daily role will involve online management of social media platforms, fundraising platforms, website and all forms of donor and public communications through WRC’s database system. Working closely with the DRM, to provide support as needed in writing annual reports, newsletters and case studies. Together with the DRM and WRC Fundraising Committee, specifically in marketing and communications, you will work to enhance the fundraising opportunities of WRC.

POSITION CHALLENGES
WRC is a small but busy center; you will need to be able to manage competing priorities with occasional short or demanding deadlines.The work that WRC do is very sensitive at times, you may be faced with emotional and physical challenges in the course of your work.
You will need to maintain every description in telling the stories of benefactors of WRC's work - changing names and details to protect the privacy of those individuals.
Regardless of your personal experience, you will be required to maintain full professionalism at all times - even in very difficult situations.
