OIC: The Cambodia Project is an NGO working to establish speech therapy in Cambodia for Cambodians with communication and swallowing problems.
We launched in 2013 in partnership with CABDICO, a Cambodian disability organisation, to start the country’s first program in bringing speech therapy to Cambodia for the more than 600,000 people with communication and swallowing difficulties.
It is the first program of its kind with the aim of:
Providing speech therapy services across Cambodia
Implementing a university speech therapy program in order to graduate the first generation of speech therapists in Cambodia. Over the last two years we have helped more than 100 children and have accomplished a number of key goals including piloting Cambodia’s first speech therapy training program.
The role
To meet the ongoing demands of this project, we are seeking a Communications Manager to join our small but successful team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for managing the development, implementation and measurement of our communication activities (internal and external), across all channels of communication.
