Nexus is a cooperative of development organizations that support vulnerable communities by scaling up successful climate-friendly projects. We exist to connect amazing development projects to the resources they need to have the biggest impact. We’re a nonprofit with a collaborative structure, which enables our members to share expertise and services, and access the technical assistance and international funding opportunities they need to grow.

• Experience
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in communications or marketing including experience within a not-for-profit organization
• Education
• Degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent
• Skills
• Native English speaker with excellent writing skills (a written test will take place during the interview)
• Experience in working with a communications agency
• Experience managing CRM system (e.g. Salesforce)
• Experience managing a team
• Interest in social media and web communications
• Proficient in MS Office, Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong knowledge of energy and climate change issues
• A background in climate finance and/or experience in development organizations would be a plus
• Personal quality
• At ease in working in a small structure, start-up-type, where tasks and responsibilities are in constant move
• Detail oriented
• Able to operate in a multicultural environment
• High level of autonomy at work, yet with profound team-spirit
