• Support sales by ensuring that team member maintain strong product knowledge and are linking sell at every opportunity
• Ensure the highest standards of visual merchandising throughout the store to attract customer
• Make recommendations to the buyer with regards to order up to levels and additions/deletions
• Develop and execute business plans and sales strategy to ensure attainment of company sales goals & profitability
• Joining sales forecast, trends, market survey and updates and present sale management team
• Explore new opportunities to get additional sales and improve market segment
• Monitor and evaluate event activities according to the strategy and sales objectives
• Competitor analysis, report and action to compete those as priority
• Ensure that exceptional customer service is given at all time
• Be aware of promotional activity within the department, monitoring local competition as necessary
• Deal with complex customer complaints or customer requests as and when required
• Ensure that the till procedures for processing customer orders, exchanges and refunds are adhered to in a consistent manner.
• Response for accountabilities of area management
• Take responsibilities for the training and development of all colleagues within your area team
• Undertake regular appraisal and reviews of all down line sales team, ensuring the appropriate follow-up action is taken and performance is managed effectively
• Address any issues of poor performance, taking disciplinary action as deemed necessary
• Communicate all relevant information and ensure all line team in your area department are aware on department objectives and how individual roles responsibilities.
