EGBOK (Everything’s Gonna Be OK) is hiring for the following positions for its Siem Reap Office as below.

Administration & HR Officer
Full time, 40 hours/week   |   Reports to: Administration & Accounts Supervisor

  • Specific Qualifications
    • Fluent in English and Khmer
    • Strong computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Previous experience in administrative positions preferred
    • Experience working in multi-cultural environments
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to interact with young people in an appropriate manner
    • Willingness to assist other staff and volunteers on their projects as needed
Job Duties :
  • Oversee ongoing office administration, including restocking office and classroom supplies, maintaining inventories of school and office equipment and maintaining the general office calendar
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair works for Spoons, Learning Center & living centers
  • Maintain asset inventories
  • Responsible for the implementation and communication of all Administrative policies and procedures. Work with all departments to ensure that Administrative policies and procedures are understood and complied with.
  • Staff recruitment including; developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, reviewing application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates in collaboration with line managers.
  • Prepare orientation schedules for each new staff member in collaboration with line managers.
  • Prepare data and figures needed for reports
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly bi-annual and annual reports for ministries
  • Track various contracts and agreements
  • Keep an up-to-date employee database and handle personnel related administrative matters including leaves, insurance
  • Maintain relationships with ministries and process paperwork as needed (MOU extensions, Visas, etc.)
  • Assist with accounting tasks in the absence of the Admin & Accounts Supervisor
  • Assist with running of student activities when needed
  • Oversee any required maintenance of the office, learning center and student living facilities
  • Provide translation support, as needed
  • Assist EGBOK Mission team members with other aspects of the Cambodia project, as needed
  • Partake in weekly meetings and monthly conference calls with US and Cambodia teams

EGBOK Mission works with underprivileged youth ages 18-24. We bring the industry to them through collaborating with various organizations.  We introduce an initial three-month course to explore hospitality and professional learning.  For those students who want to continue with the hospitality track, we offer a 12-month Training & Internship program.  This includes tuition, housing, living essentials, salary and an array of social services.  Upon graduation, we see them through employment placement and monitor progress accordingly.
