THE ASSOCIATION
Established in 1991, Enfants d’Asie is an association recognized of public utility. It aims to help disadvantaged children build their future. Its action is strictly humanitarian, apolitical and non-denominational. Enfants d’Asie operates in 4 countries of Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines.
It supports 10,000 children by providing basic needs through individual sponsorships, and the development of specialized programs with local partners. Its main objective is the education of children.
In Cambodia, the association Enfants d’Asie is helping more than 2,000 children living in their families or in foster centers. The association works in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs in co-managing 16 State orphanages located throughout the country. It also runs 8 foster centers, a health program and a program for ethnic minorities.
Besides taking care of basic needs of children, the association supports their education and their employability through vocational training or higher education.
