• Business degree or related professional qualification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of full-time professional experience in a business environment.
• Technical sales skills
• Knowledge of market research
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Practical/on the ground experience as a sales person
• Interest in energy efficiency and renewable energy technology.
• Good reporting skills, good organizational and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Internet).

• Maintain and develop good relationship with customers through personal contact or meetings or via telephone etc.

• Display efficiency in gathering market and customer info to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications to their managers.
• Help management in forthcoming products and discuss on special promotions.
• Review their own performance and aim at exceeding their targets.
• Record sales and order information and report the same to the sales department.
• Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to their respective employers.
• Assist Sale/Marketing manager to develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
• Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
• Track, collate and interpret sales figures
• Generate timely sales reports
• Develop pricing schedules and rates
• Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
• analyze data to identify sales opportunities
• Develop promotional ideas and material
