New Hope Cambodia, an NGO registered with the Cambodian Government, provides education, family support, and health care to impoverished children and their families in the Mondul 3 area of Siem Reap.
The health care program includes a day visit clinic, pharmacy, doctor, foreign volunteer health professionals, home visits, a support program for people with disabilities, family planning, and a soon to be implemented pro-active student health care program.
An interpreter for the health care services is now required
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure accurate translation of conversations between Khmer speaking patients and English speaking health care professionals who visit New Hope as volunteers.
This position offers the benefit of working hours from 7.00 a.m. to mid-day and 2.00 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday and not working on public holidays.
