We are seeking a dynamic and professional Cambodian to fill the following position:

Job Title: Senior Programme Officer – Women’s Rights – Safe Cities 
Reports To: Policy and Campaign Manager
Position status: Full time regular position
Place of Assignment: Phnom Penh (With occasional travel to the fields and overseas)

Position Purpose:
The Senior PO – Women’s Rights – Safe Cities will lead the implementation of ActionAid’s Cambodia Safe Cities Framework in collaboration with the safe cities coalition members and Communication and Campaign Coordinator. She will engage in influencing the national policies and strategy on women’s rights especially on gender based violence based on the analysis and learning from the women groups. She will also involve in fundraising to run the programme.

• Bachelor Degree in Gender, Law or Political Science, Public Policy or other relevant qualification
• Minimum 3 years working with INGO/NGO on gender based violence
• Experience in project cycle management and contract compliance and proposal development
• Experience in advocacy, communication and/or campaigns, research, policy analysis
• Knowledge in national and international policies and laws related to women’s rights especially in the area of gender based violence.
• Excellence inter-personal and leadership skill
• English proficiency
